School Social Work Service
The Keswick project involves in service development by directly funding a school social work project in the Mianzhu Xinglong School. We support the service by building a two tier supervisory system to offer professional guidance and consultation. We have a Hong Kong supervisor guiding a local supervisor providing administrative and service development advice to the young school social work team. The project also supports the program and services expenses in this site.
Post-disaster Rehabilitation Service
Children and adult victims in schools and communities who suffered from severe bone fracture or amputation are in great need of physical and psychological rehabilitation. We have to work out a multi-disciplinary and integrative approach in order to develop a sustainable service model. Connecting NGO partners, engaging other professionals including medical and rehabilitation science, providing basic and fundamental rehabilitation training will certainly be the direction of service development. The project will commit to develop one practicum site. In addition to that, the project will offer professional training and support to other related projects in Sichuan.
